Hello and welcome to TajAthO Studios, as you can see I’m terrible at the administrative part of promoting my art. This is my attempt to do better. I recently sold these three paintings to a private collector.

These Three Abstracts were some of my first paintings that I produced when I found my “style” so to speak. After I had finally found my style I hadn’t picked up a brush in almost two years. The major reason was because I had to work, not as an Artist, but as a sales associate. Sure I had submitted my work across the spectrum of contest and gallery submissions but nothing ever came back. Then one day recently my cousin came over to my house, he had never seen my paintings and I hadn’t posted them on social media until recently and at his suggestion. As fate would have it a friend of his saw my paintings and wanted to buy all three. I was ecstatic, people had seen that they had sold and asked I would consider making prints. I hadn’t consider it, I told you that I was bad at this self promotion administrative part of art. Again I promise to be better. Now let me tell you about the Yijing Abstracts.

The Yijing or maybe once known as the I Ching was a book of divination that has been used for three thousand years if not more. “The Yijing is a philosophical system based upon mathematics and quantum physics.” According to R.L. Wing, the author of The Illustrated I Ching. Now I won’t go into the Hexagrams, The Sequence, The Trigrams, The Lines and of How to Consult the Yijing, that can be done for anyone who buys the paintings if they have no experience with the Yijing. As I said the paintings were inspired by the Yijing not replicas of Hexagrams, they are intended to be personal paintings of intention as you set yours each day, each week, each month, or year. The paintings are meant to be looked at as a beginning, middle, and end of what you want to manifest in your life. If you look closely at the painting you will see that there is a lot going on underneath as things do in our subconscious. The Yjing abstracts are intended to remind you of the subtleties that coincide with the complex again as you set your intentions.

Now you may not believe in any of that, then we suggest that you just look at them as interesting abstracts that complement an aesthetic as exampled below.
